Believers Heritage Ministries is pleased to announce that our application for charitable status with the Canada Revenue Agency under the Income Tax Act has been approved, as of August 23, 2021.
BHM has been a registered society with the joint stock registry in Nova Scotia since October 6, 2020 just before the local church planted by the ministry, Believers House, began online on October 18 of the same year. However, we have been prayerfully following up our application for charitable status with the CRA since then, with the letter confirming the approval reaching the ministry office on September 22, 2021.
Charitable registration grants the ministry tax exemption and also allows us to fully pursue charitable activities in the community where we belong. It also allows us to issue donation receipts to donors for donations received by the ministry which can then be presented by donors as charitable donations as part of their income tax filing.
We are grateful to the people who gave generously to the ministry in the last one year without any expectation of donation receipts. Your giving did not go unnoticed in the courts of Heaven.
